Specialised Acupuncture for Fertility in Newcastle under Lyme, Staffordshire within easy reach of Stoke on Trent, Cheshire and Shropshire

At Mandarin Clinic, our Acupuncturists understand that the process of natural and assisted Fertility can be an emotional and physical rollercoaster.  As women Acupuncturists we recognise the pain,  sadness, devastation, fear, stress and anxiety you experience when the hope of holding your baby seems out of reach. Don’t feel that you have to go through this alone. Recent reports state that 1 in 5 couples experience Fertility problems. Our patients report that Mandarin Clinic has become their sanctuary, a place where they feel supported, heal and feel stronger to continue their Fertility journey.

Our practitioners are happy to treat both women, men and couples and have post graduate training in the UK, China and in America with leading specialists in this field such as: Zita West, Jani White, Sarah Matheson, Dr Bernard Shannon and Professor Jerry Alan Johnson. Our unique service can include Acupuncture and/or Medical Qigong Therapy.

Infertility can arise from Female reproductive problems (irregular or absent menses, endometriosis, polycystic ovary syndrome, recurrent miscarriage, etc.); Male reproductive problems (low sperm count, ejaculation problems, etc.) or a combination of both. In some cases, infertility remains unexplained.

Acupuncture can be used on its own or in combination with Fertility treatments such as IVF (In Vitro Fertilisation), ICSI (Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection), etc. A research study published in the British Medical Journal (February 2008) concluded that ‘Acupuncture given with embryo transfer improves rates of pregnancy and live birth among women undergoing in vitro fertilisation’. Acupuncture is therefore often a choice of treatment prior to and immediately after embryo transfer.

Acupuncture stimulates the body’s own healing systems and helps to restore natural rhythms. In addition we are passionate about lifestyle and nutritional advice which is integral to your treatment.

‘Thank You! I am sure the acupuncture was the reason I remained so calm throughout my fertility treatment (and also why it worked!)’. Clare – Market Drayton

‘Words cannot express how grateful we are to you. Without your support and the amazing work you do at Mandarin Clinic, I believe we would not be spending our first Christmas with our little boy.’ Vicky – Newcastle Under Lyme
